Highly Recommended. Mechanical Watches of the Year 2014.
Like the rumble of a distant storm, Seiko’s high-end watch-making division, Grand Seiko, seems to have been threatening to break over the UK for some time.
Taking an educated guess we would assume that it’s not the easiest job to convince customers to spend thousands of pounds on a watch bearing the Seiko name in a market where the brand’s true credentials go largely unheralded.
This green-dialled beauty (a limited run of 600 pieces) is Seiko’s first hi-beat watch to feature GMT functionality and offers a 55-hour power reserve.
The watch features a new hi-beat mechanical movement . If you miss out on the limited edition there are also two serially produced models with either black or white dials.
