World Time UK made its return to London Heathrow this Saturday in what was a successful return to events for the group.
Held at the Sofitel Hotel at the Airport, watch brands for the UK and Europe were in attendance once again with watch collectors and aficionados also out in their droves to see what was on offer.
Last held in 2019 (pictured above), the event bounced back well following a COVID-induced year off and got back to doing what it does best in seamless fashion.
The likes of Christopher Ward, Elliott Brown and Formex among others were all in attendance, in what was a packed out exhibition space at the hotel.
This year, the event moved to a slightly later date in September, rather than august, to make it easier for brands to exhibit.
The late August dates were very close to the Hong Kong Watch Fair which takes place in the first week of September, making it difficult for some watch brands to attend both events.
For 2022 and as the event continues to grow, the provisional date will be the last Saturday of September, to be confirmed as soon as the Sofitel confirms the date.
Prior to this year’s event, organisers said: “Our effort is to grow the World Time UK (The London Watch Event) to a European-based exhibition fair that will give the opportunity to watch brands around the world to exhibit their products and meet their prospective customers not only from the United Kingdom but also from Europe.”

WATCHPRO Salon
The Londoner Hotel is hosting WATCHPRO Salon, a showcase of prestige watchmakers and a chance for brands, retailers and press to meet collectors and enthusiasts in 5-star luxury.
The two-day event takes place from November 12 to 13 at The Londoner, a brand new 5-star hotel on London’s Leicester Square.
