Switzerland’s Delma has always erred on the side of indestructibility in the divers’ world, coupled with a keen price and desirable design.
The Delma Blue Shark III Black Edition illustrates the point perfectly, and the watch will be on display at this weekend’s WATCHPRO Salon.
It uses the tried and tested SW200 automatic Sellita movement with 38 hour power reserve to drive central hours, minutes, seconds hands and date at 3 o’clock.
So far, so standard.
But the brand’s energy goes into preparing the watch for extreme conditions, in this case water resistance to 4,000 meters (13,120 feet), couple with the sort of instant readability any diver will want deep below the surface.
For those testing the water resistance with no greater challenge than a morning shower, the watch is a stunner in city conditions, thanks to its black DLC coating, bright accents and bold luminous hands and hour markers.
Each reference comes on a steel bracelet or rubber strap.
