William Wood Watches, the British luxury watch brand known for upcycling firefighting materials, has presented its fifth new limited edition collection called the Bronze Ruby part of its heritage range.
The new watch has a deep burgundy dial, and is set inside a bronze watch case.
The watch also comes fitted with the well-known Japan-Made NH35 movement.
Designers have also placed inside the crown an inset made from a 1920’s British brass firefighter’s helmet.
All the casting and craftsmanship is carried out in the heart of London’s prestigious jewellery district of Hatton Garden.
Each inset is finished with our unique William Wood firefighter helmet logo engraving.
As well as the Bronze Ruby, the brand has also announced a second new product as the Bronze Ruby comes coupled with new upcycled British Fire Kit Straps.
This is the first time William Wood has used an upcycled material which is not fire hose, and offers the customer a neutral desert tone.
As Fire Kits are designed to withstand all elements, the brand tells us it was not an easy feat to take this rugged material and turn it into a luxury watch strap, but the execution and finish looks like it was meant to be.
The Bronze Ruby will retail for £795 or 3 interest free payments of £265.
Water resistant to 100m, the new watch will be available for immediate purchase on launch day.
