PERRELET, a Swiss watchmaker whose history dates back to 1777, is re-entering the UK market thanks to an agency agreement with Remontoire.
The brand will be properly introduced to the trade, press and consumers at this year’s WATCHPRO Salon, which takes place from November 12 to 13 at The Londoner Hotel on Leicester Square.
“We are delighted to join WATCHPRO Salon, one of the few physical watch fairs since the beginning of the pandemic,” says Hugo Lesizza, international sales & marketing manager for PERRELET.
“This event will mark the official return of PERRELET to the UK market in close collaboration with our exclusive agent, Mr Stephen Lee (Remontoire 68 Ltd). It will be the perfect location to meet and discuss with watch connoisseurs, retailers, journalists and introduce them our latest developments and collections,” he adds.
PERRELET is best known for its Double Rotor and Turbine watches, which are driven by the watchmaker’s new in-house automatic calibre P-331-MH.
The movement is 100% produced in Switzerland’s Jura Valley. It is COSC chronometer certified, and used in PERRELET’s new Turbine Evo and Turbine Pilot watches, which will be presented at WATCHPRO Salon.
Turbine Evo was launched this year as PERRELET’s flagship watch to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Turbine Technology.
2021 models have a completely overhauled design with smoother and refined lines and come, for the first time, with integrated metal bracelets.
PERRELET is also hinting that it may have a world-wide exclusive to launch at WATCHPRO Salon.
All the company will say at this stage is that it is working on a new collection with a completely new manufacture movement that will be unveiled soon.
PERRELET is one of the star brands at this year’s WATCHPRO Salon, a prestigious showcase of innovative watchmakers and a chance to meet fellow collectors and enthusiasts.
The two-day event takes place from November 12 to 13 at The Londoner, a brand new 5-star hotel on London’s Leicester Square.
