WatchPro Awards 2018 will be biggest event of the year for British industry

Over 250 leading executives confirmed for November 6 gala dinner.

With three weeks to go, the 2018 WatchPro Awards has already set a new record for its size, with over 250 leading executives from the industry gathering in London on November 6.

“The industry may be turning its back on mega events like Baselworld, but backing for the WatchPro Awards is stronger than ever,” says Rob Corder, managing editor of WatchPro.

“Perhaps this is what the future looks like, with executives from retailers, wholesalers and watch brands gathering to support each other in their own country. We keep hearing brands want to get closer to their customers, and the WatchPro Awards certainly delivers that,” Mr Corder adds.

The country’s biggest multiples and family-owned independent watch retailers are sending delegations, including The Watches of Switzerland Group, Signet, Beaverbrooks, Bucherer, Laings, Preston’s, Pragnell’s, Luxe Watches and David M. Robinson.

They will be mixing with leaders from the cream of the watch wholesalers’ and brands’ offices including Citizen, Patek Philippe, Hublot, Seiko, Casio, Zeon, Mondaine and Wolf.

The WatchPro Awards honour the achievements of both watch brands and retailers in 14 categories. There will also be a Lifetime Achievement Award for a legend of the industry.

There are still five tables (50 tickets) available for the November 6 event, which takes place at 8 Northumberland, just off Trafalgar Square, in London.
