Vacheron Constantin showcased a completely overhauled Overseas collection at SIHH with five new Poinçon de Genève-certified sports watches, a completely new, proprietary quick-change strap system and varying degrees of complexity.
The new strap system means that each watch in the Overseas collection is imbued with added versatility, allowing a dress watch to be transformed into a sports watch within seconds using either the newly designed Overseas metal bracelet or Clous de Paris-patterned rubber strap.
The 41mm Overseas (hours/minutes/central seconds/date), 37mm Overseas Small and 42.5mm Overseas Chronograph are each powered by newly developed in-house movements while the Overseas ultra-thin and ultra-thin perpetual calendar use the Calibre 1120 and 1120P respectively. Dial are finished with sunburst brushing (as well as snailing for any sub-dials) before being lacquered in one of four distinctive new colours including a luscious deep blue.
