Watchfinder sponsors The Classic Car Show TV show

Watchfinder & Co has followed that famous pairing of cars and watches by sponsoring a new big budget television show dedicated to classic cars.

The Classic Car Show, presented by Quentin Wilson and Jodie Kidd, debuted on Channel 5 last week aiming to chart the rich history of the some of the finest cars ever produced with contributions from celebrities as well as buying suggestions for future classics. The series consists of thirteen, one-hour episodes.

Quentin Willson, presenter and Executive Producer of The Classic Car Show, said: “To launch our first series of The Classic Car Show with Aston Martin, Jaguar Heritage and Watchfinder as brand partners is a dream line-up. They are amongst the most revered and powerful brands in the world.

“Like our partners, The Classic Car Show does things differently. No-one has done a TV show like this ever before. We’ve got gorgeous cars, passionate stories, an extraordinary filming budget and endless enthusiasm. The Classic Car Show is an amazing, insightful series without a socket set in sight.”

Watchfinder’s sponsorship of the show is the pre-owned luxury watch retailer’s first media spend on television of 2015 and will form part of its multi-channel marketing strategy for the year.

Lloyd Amsdon, co-founder of Watchfinder, said: “Classic cars and classic watches go hand-in-hand, and we at Watchfinder are delighted to support this exciting new show”.
