Watchfinder plans up to three boutiques for 2014

Watchfinder & Co is looking to push ahead with opening up to three new bricks and mortar boutiques in 2014.

The pre-owned watch specialist has been encouraged by the success of its Royal Exchange boutique in London, which opened in February 2013 and recorded record sales of £660,000 in December alone.

Watchfinder & Co’s co-founder Lloyd Amsdon has confirmed that the company is looking at London locations including Bond Street, Royal Arcade, Mount Street and Regent Street while also exploring locations in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and even Paris.

Amsdon said: “We expect to open in two or three of these locations in 2014. While we have a high number of customers in London and the south east, we also have a significant number in other regions, and the positioning of new stores needs to cater for that.

“Feedback from visitors to our flagship Royal Exchange store has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s our challenge to model the business around our customers desire to enjoy both the very best of online and offline retailing.”
