Watch e-tailer Watches2U has announced it will be a Gold Partner at next month’s WatchPro Hot 100 2016 launch party.
Danny Toffel, managing director of Watches2U who featured in WatchPro’s Hot 100 last year, said: “There’s nothing like the WatchPro Hot 100 in the UK. It is the only real watch industry event where people from various corners of the trade can come together to network and celebrate the successes of the past year. We are thrilled to be a part of the event, and look forward to a great night, hopefully making valuable new connections and friends from within the industry.”
WatchPro’s Hot 100 is an annual publication of the 100 brightest lights in the UK watch industry over the past 12 months. The publication, launched at a glittering event at Kensington Roof Gardens on Tuesday 5 July, features especially commissioned portrait photography of the 100 subjects from Kalory.co.uk, alongside interviews with the subjects.
“There is tremendous talent in the UK watch trade,” added Toffel. “What excites us the most are the emerging new brands and innovations, who wouldn’t want to be the next Michael Kors, Olivia Burton or Daniel Wellington? We are always keeping an eye on how others have embraced technology and the internet, and what we can learn from them.”
Watches2U will be joined at the party by Technology Partner, Bransom, who will be bringing hundreds of tubes of Smarties to the event for the second consecutive year.
