Watches of Switzerland Group takes online bookings for personal appointments

The Watches of Switzerland Group has launched an online booking system for appointments at Goldsmiths, Mappin and Webb and Watches of Switzerland.

Appointments have proved a valuable way to both ensure customers are safe as they return to shopping, and also for retailers to get advanced information that makes consultations more productive.

The By Personal Appointment service, which goes live today, lets clients make both in-store or virtual appointments. If the appointment is over phone or zoom, it will be with a consultant from their chosen store.

“Over the course of lock down, Zoom and digital tools were essential to strengthening the relationships between our teams and clients. With keeping in touch, showing products and arranging delivery all made possible – and easy – by a digital approach to working, we are delighted to announce the By Personal Appointment service and deliver exceptional client experience simultaneously online and in store,” says Craig Bolton, executive director of The Watches of Switzerland Group.

Watches can be bought during the phone or virtual appointments and stores can arrange collection or contact-free delivery to the client’s residence.

CORDER’S COLUMN: New normal is likely to increase sales “By Appointment”

  1. Watches can be bought during zoom video appointments and stores can arrange collection or delivery ?
Are they having a laugh ?
I’ve tried to buy a thirty thousand pound watch from them and sent emails to every corner of the world and not one of these stores can or wont sell me the watch so please tell the truth which is they will sell to the chosen few if your willing to buy a load of watches that you dont want from them first.

  2. Just a brief look at Trust Pilot reviews would show that they need to do much better on the customer service front.
