The Watches of Switzerland Group and Rolex have raised £300,000 for The Prince’s Trust, a charity created by HRH Prince Charles that helps young people improve their lives through business and personal mentoring.
An initiative was launched last year for engraved ladies and men’s Rolex Rolesor and Steel watches to be sold on bhealf of the charity.
For every piece sold, The Watches of Switzerland Group donated £1000 to The Princes Trust, and Rolex donated another £1000.
Clare Crabb, north regional director at The Prince’s Trust, was handed a cheque for £300,000 this morning from The Watches of Switzerland Group chief executive Brian Duffy and Rolex UK managing director Richard De Leyser.
