Watch strap specialist LBS supports WatchPro Awards for third consecutive year

LBS has signed on as a sponsor of this year’s WatchPro Awards. The watch strap and battery specialist has partnered with the event every year since its start in 2016.

“We are delighted to support the WatchPro Awards for another year and are looking forward to celebrating the achievements within our industry,”  says Sam Rose, director LBS. “Being a sponsor for the last three years has had a huge impact on our business. Watch straps are an essential part of the industry, from generating footfall into a luxury retailer to working with a watch brand to perfect their timepiece. We are always delighted when people approach us to talk about watch straps and have some fantastic new clients from the Awards. We are going from strength to strength,” he adds.

The 2018 WatchPro Awards take place at 8 Northumberland in Central London on November 6. The event is already firmly established as the biggest night of the year for the country’s leading watch retail, brand and supplier executives to come together for a celebration of the industry’s achievements.

“Although still in its infancy, the Awards already feel like an essential event in the horological calendar. The night itself has everything but most importantly the ‘industry greats’ get the recognition that they have worked so hard for,” Mr Rose says.

Last year the gala dinner welcomed senior delegations from retail groups including Aurum Holdings, Beaverbrooks, Signet, Bucherer, Amazon, Berry’s, Watchfinder and dozens of independents; plus executives from suppliers such as TAG Heuer, Breitling, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Seiko, Citizen, Casio, Zeon, Olivia Burton and many more.

LBS has been a leading supplier of watch straps and batteries for over 30 years, providing next day delivery for retail partners and supporting them for valuable and profitable add-on sales. “As retailers have been finding trading very tough these past few months more and more people are switching to LBS. We do not have any reps or agents to pay for which means we can produce superb watch straps at the most competitive prices, increasing the margin significantly for the retailer,” Mr Rose explains.

“LBS has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of retailing watch straps and would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have on the night! Please do come and say hello to any of the team,” he urges.
