Press and watch lovers gathered at Europe’s tallest building, The Shard, to celebrate the new life Nicholas Bowman-Scargill has brought to Fears, a family owned business that began life in 1846.
It was also an opportunity to present the company’s Archival 1930 Small Seconds, an elegant dress watch housing an original vintage movement that will look equally at home on the wrist of a man or woman.
The watch uses an ETA 717 movement from around 1935 that has undergone a full reconditioning in the Fears workshop while receiving an upgraded mainspring to improve reliability.
It is limited to 175 pieces, all uniquely numbered, and retails for £3,950.
