Pre-orders are now live on the second in a series of 13 watches planned over 13 years by high concept watch brand W.T. Author.
The 46mm 1914, which follows last year’s inaugural 1905 watch design, draws its inspiration from the First World War and subsequent designs will seek to use design to evoke eras throughout modern history.
As with the 1905, the 1914 is available now for pre-order on the W.T. Author website with a £50 discount on the final £350 retail price. Beneath the watch’s black PVD treated stainless steel case lays a quartz movement from Ronda hidden beneath a steel caseback embossed with the brand logo and enamel-filled in bright red. The watch also features the brand’s signature red aluminium crown.
The 1914, as with each W.T. Author edition, is presented with four dial colour options, each limited to just 125 pieces with individually numbered 001, 013 and 125 examples being offered at a premium.
