VIDEO: TAG Heuer MikrotourbillonS at Salon QP

TAG Heuer showcased its MikrotourbillonS at Salon QP earlier this month, the first time that the groundbreaking timepiece had been shown in public in the UK, since its unveiling at BaselWorld in March.

The doublebarelled MikrotourbillonS offers the precision of 1/100th of a second with the accuracy of a tourbillion, and drew the crowds on the shows opening night on November 8.

The watch does in fact feature two tourbillon movements, hence the emphasis on the S. It was launched as a follow up to the Mikrogirder and Mikrograph models that were originally launched as concept timepieces by the brand.

It is the first tourbillon chronograph capable of certification-level precision timing, it is said to be the fastest and most accurate tourbillon ever imagined.

The video features Christoph Behling, TAG Heuer designer and Guy Semon, TAG Heuer head of R&D, who were present at the launch of the MikrotourbillionS at Salon QP.
