Victorinox creates indestructible I.N.O.X out of carbon

Swiss manufacturer Victorinox has introduced a new, ultra-sturdy addition to its I.N.O.X collection as it aims to lead the way in durable watches.

The I.N.O.X Carbon is made from a carbon resin composite that has protected space shuttles from re-entry temperatures in excess of 1,260°C. Durable materials and construction along with dependable functionality are designed to make the company’s watches attractive to adventure-lovers.

I.N.O.X. Carbon is designed to combine high structural rigidity with scratch resistance and hypoallergenic properties. It has a monobloc dial with stamped markers and digits to ensure shock resistance.

Its case gets extra shielding from a transluscent grey removable bumper.

A Naimakka paracord attachment is an alternative to a genuine rubber strap, both in black.

Traditionally used for parachute suspension lines, and with a breaking strength of 250 kg, the multi-strand nylon cord is designed to be highly durable. The watch’s dense, matt black appearance aims to make a sleek modern statement.
