Versace’s brand recognition has never been broader than right now following high profile television dramas about the Italian fashion dynasty’s colourful history.
The Versace name, and that of its diffusion line brand Versus, is licensed to Timex, which makes broad collections of fashion watches under license for the maison.
Autumn/Winter 2019 collections have just been unveiled by Versus, and include watches for men and women adopting styles, materials and iconography from the fashion brand.
Versus Saint Germain, for example, is a jewellery watch with the Versus Lion Head in relief on its IP gold plated bracelet while its dial is dominated with a crystal V.
The quartz watches, priced at £200, are available from September.
Among the men’s collections is the sporty Versus Eugène chronograph in a range of colours. They come in gunmetal grey or IP gold plate 46mm cases housing quartz movements.
Offered on either leather straps or stainless steel Milanese bracelets, they will sell for £170 to £220 from September.
