Venus was originally founded in 1902 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by master craftsman Paul Arthur Schwarz and his wife Olga Etienne-Schwarz.

The values expressed by the brand quickly became synonymous with innovative design and manufacturing achievement. By the mid 1960’s Venus was a well-established brand, with a global distribution.

The company organised glamorous public relations events and Venus watches were notably worn by celebrities such as the Hollywood actress Jane Mansfield.

They were also worn by important personalities and political figures such as Leonid Brezhnev, the leader of the Soviet Union, and the Vatican famously placed an order of one hundred Venus mechanical, self-winding timepieces in white gold.

Kept in respectful guardianship for many years by its new owners, the decisive moment of Venus rebirth finally came in 2011. Venus continuously launches innovative timepieces with captivating design and technical characteristics of high quality.

Venus offers lines of automatic or quartz wristwatches, for both gents and ladies.

Its most recent watches: Genesis, Chroma, Slim and 111 Years Anniversary models have enjoyed huge excitement at exhibitions around the world, and the company expects them to be met with the same enthusiasm at this year’s London Watch Show.

The exhibition will also see the exclusive launch in the UK of a new family of Classico watches that combine the aesthetics of a timeless style with advanced engineering.
