Vacheron Constantin has added its Patrimony moon phase retrograde date to its exclusive Collection Excellence Platine family of limited edition watches in 950 platinum.
There will be only 50 sold world-wide, all with case, crown, dial and buckle in the precious white metal, and on sale only at Vacheron Constantin’s boutiques.
The 42.5mm Patrimony moon phase retrograde date, first seen in 2017 in white and pink gold versions, is one of Vacheron Constantin’s signature watches.
It uses the manufacture self-winding 2460 R31L calibre, with an 18ct gold oscillating weight topping up its 40-hour power reserve, is visible through a sapphire caseback.
The watch’s moon phase needs to be corrected only once every 122 years while its retrograde date display will have to be adjusted after months with fewer than 31 days.
