Uniform Wares to host design exhibition

By Deepa Narwani

Uniform Wares is collaborating with 12 graphic artists from around the world for an exhibition curated by the brand, which will take place over London Fashion Week and the London Design Festival from September 14 to 24.

The exhibition titled 12:24 will celebrate the launch of the new editions of its 150 and 200 series watches.

The brief for the project asks each artist to create a print inspired by one hour that represents a pivotal moment of time for them and their work. Each print will be exhibited alongside a Uniform Wares watch, which will be set to represent the hour the artist has illustrated.

Company founder Patrick Bek said: “More than just a product launch, the exhibition is a first in a series of projects that will see Uniform Wares take a more creative approach to collaboration.”

A limited edition run of 24 of each artist’s print will be available for purchase during the exhibition as well as on the company’s website.

The exhibition will run in conjunction with a Uniform Wares temporary shop in 81 Leonard Street Gallery in Shoreditch.
