Ulysse Nardin has turned to fire and ice as inspiration for a pair of models joining its Freak X family this year.
Both models come in 43mm titanium cases, coated white for the Freak X Ice and black and red for the Freak X Magma.
Both use the manufacture UN-230 self-winding calibre, which is effectively a movement made into a minute hand that continuously circles the dial.
They come on complementary black or white leather straps with rubber coating in the case of the Ice.
Freak X Magma is being sold only at Ulysse-Nardin boutiques for €27,000.
The Ice watch is feeding into wholesale and will retail for €24,000.
