Just one week after unveiling its Blast collection at Geneva Watch Days, Ulysse Nardin has unveiled an automatic tourbillon version set with individually cut diamonds that make the timepiece look like it is covered in shards of broken mirror.

The CHF 410,000 limited edition will come in two versions.

Three are being made in white gold with a white rubber strap and three in white gold with a deep blue, alligator strap.

Each of the six 45mm watch has 211 diamonds totaling 13 carats and using 85 different cuts across the skeletonised dial, bezel, crown, hands and even the buckle.

It is powered by the UN-172 automatic flying tourbillon movement with a micro-rotor in platinum and 72 hours of power reserve.

Ulysse Nardin, owned the Kering Group (home to Gucci) adopts the Kimberley Process that aims to keep conflict diamonds out of the global supply chain.
