U-BOAT’s Capsoil, Chimera and Darkmoon collections will bring their muscular broody physiques to WATCHPRO Salon including a number of special editions.
The Italian watchmaker, famed for its oversized timekeepers, is presenting the Chimera Green Line for the first time in the UK.
The relatively modestly proportioned 46mm collection comes with bronze or stainless steel models, sharing the same design dominated by a large crown and guard on the left of the watches.
They have green accents on a central second hand and hands for a second time zone sub dial.
Dark Moon watches signal another change in direction for U-BOAT, this time into timepieces with the dial and movement suspended in oil, each with a small air bubble that moved around the face.
The two hand watches come in a variety of colourways including a moody red on black (perfect for Halloween), and sunray dial pieces in orange, green and blue.
Capsoil (pictured top) takes the same oil-filled concept as the Dark Moon collection and uses it in 45mm steel with black DLC-coated dual timers.
The bold black watches have two crowns, one for the setting the local time, the other for a second time zone. They are worn on a sporty black rubber strap.
WATCHPRO Salon
U-BOAT is one of the star brands at this year’s WATCHPRO Salon, a showcase of prestige watchmakers and a chance for brands, retailers and press to meet collectors and enthusiasts in 5-star luxury.
The two-day event takes place from November 12 to 13 at The Londoner, a brand new 5-star hotel on London’s Leicester Square.
