TW Steel has created a special edition watch to celebrate its collaboration with Dutch DJ Mitchell Niemeyer.
The 45mm Canteen Bracelet model has been designed to reflect brand ambassador Niemeyer’s energy and passion.
The exclusive dial design mirrors the Amsterdam-born DJ’s favourite tattoo design of stars and stripes. Orange, another Dutch touch, and white highlights on the hands and hour markers bring a sense of depth to the dial.
The oversized steel case is treated with dark titanium PVD before being sandblasted and houses a Miyota chronograph quartz movement. Gloss black PVD treatment on the bezel and mid-section bracelet links offer another eye-catching design flourish.
Niemeyer said: “I’m blown away by the detail in my Special Edition. The use of the stars from my tattoos on the dial makes it extremely personal to me but it’s also an appealing part of the design. I hope other people will share my love and appreciation of it. I’ll be proudly sporting it at gigs around the world that’s for sure.”
