Tustains adds click and collect service

Tustains has added a click and collect option to its website, further adapting its offer to suit customer shopping habits and provide more choice.

In June this year the Leamington Spa high street watch and jewellery retailer launched an e-commerce website to give its customers the option of making purchases online.

Now, in the timely run up to Christmas, Tustains has added the click and collect option to its website, allowing customers to browse online, reserve their selected product and then check their purchase with Tustains’ expert staff when they pay for their goods and collect them from the store.

Co-owner Joe Milner said: “We believe that customers appreciate being able to choose how, when and where they buy from us. For some people with busy lives it’s easier to browse through our collections online at a time that suits them."

Acknowledging that online shopping has traditionally been perceived by some as an impersonal experience, the team behind Tustains said that click and collect not only gives shoppers the opportunity to conveniently make a selection online, guaranteeing they get the product they want, but then to also visit the store giving them chance to see and try on the products and talk to experienced staff about their selection.

Milner added: “We hope to welcome both our regulars and new customers to shop with us this way. We think it will help, especially in the very busy period up to Christmas, if we offered a complete range of both online and traditional style retail service.”

As well as providing a delivery service, Tustains is now able to give its customers chance to choose products online, which we will be kept in store and reserved for the next seven days. People can then visit the store to collect products and pay for them in the traditional way at their own convenience.

Tustains is in good company. Recently, online retailer eBay added the service, using high street retailer Argos as a partner. Next and John Lewis have also recently announced new click and collect schemes.

Tustains recently added Breitling to its watch brand line up.
