Tudor signs seven year deal to sponsor rugby’s biggest global tournaments

Tudor has signed a seven year partnership with World Rugby that will see the watch brand become the Official Timekeeper of Rugby World Cup 2019 and 2023, Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021, Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 and 2022 and the annual World Rugby U20 Championship.

As part of Tudor’s ‘Born To Dare’ campaign, the partnership also covers Presenting Partner status for the World Rugby Hall of Fame, located in Rugby, England, and the World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year Award at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco in 2017 and 2018.

Tudor is using an all-black Heritage Black Bay to publicise the rugby partnership, although it does not appear to be directly associated with any of the events it will sponsor.

The World Rugby deal comes at the end of a year when Tudor announced ambassadors and sponsorships featuring David Beckham, the New Zealand All Blacks, and Lady Gaga.
