Triwa collaborates with legendary designer Skultuna on limited edition timepiece

Swedish watchmaker Triwa has revealed the second timepiece it has created in partnership with Skultuna, a 400 year old designer of fine metal objects.

The Twiwa x Skultuna II watch is made of brass, a metal Skultuna has been famous for using since its creation in 1607. It has a racing green dial and a tanned leather strap from Sweden’s Tärnsjö Tannery.

It is powered by a Miyota 9015 automatic movement and it is limited to 400 numbered pieces.

It is expected to be priced at around £500 when it goes on sale this week at UK retailers. Current Triwa stockists include Goldsmiths and Watch Shop.

“We are very happy about the collaboration with TRIWA, and with the end result. The watch with its timeless design and the raw brass, together with the leather strap from Tärnsjö – makes this watch a perfect blend of Triwa and Skultuna”, says Viktor Blomqvist, CEO and managing director for Skultuna.

“We are extremely proud over this product,” adds Triwa creative director and co-founder Ludvig Scheja. “The mix of colours, materials and the automatic movement really makes this watch a true icon, made to age gracefully.”
