Tony Broderick takes non-exec director role at Northern Ireland’s Lunn’s

Former Watches of Switzerland Group COO brings over 40 years’ experience at the front line of luxury watches and jewellery to the Belfast-based business.

Tony Broderick retired as chief operating officer of Watches of Switzerland Group last year after a 40 year career with this country’s biggest luxury jeweller.

Thankfully, that experience will not be entirely lost to the UK’s luxury watch business, because Mr Broderick has accepted a role as non-executive director for Lunn’s in Northern Ireland.

His first day on the job was March 1.

Lunn’s is an authorised dealer for a number of the world’s leading watch and jewellery brands in Northern Ireland including Omega, Rolex, Cartier and Patek Philippe.

The business has three multibrand showrooms in Belfast and Derry, plus monobrand boutiques for Rolex and TAG Heuer.

“This appointment comes at a very important time for Lunn’s as we continue to evolve and grow in an ever-changing luxury retail environment. Tony’s vast experience and insight will undoubtedly be invaluable to Lunn’s and we very much look forward to him playing a key role in our strategic planning,” says John Lunn, managing director for Lunn’s.

“Lunn’s continues to be ambitious for growth and innovation and we have some exciting plans this year, which Tony will be playing an important role in as a Director of our business,” he adds.
