Kennett roccos winner

Tom Kennett wins ROCCO young business award

Kennett Watches founder Tom Kennett has won the Rocco Award for Young Business Person of the Year.

The Rocco Awards celebrate business talent in Renfrewshire, one of Scotland’s leading industrial counties. Now in its 11th year, the Rocco awards, hosted by Scottish comedian Fred MacAulay at Glasgow’s Normandy Hotel are regarded as one of Scotland’s premier business events in the national business calendar.

On the night 18 awards were presented in front of a sell-out audience of 500 guests showcasing some of Renfrewshire’s top businesses.

Tom Kennett scooped the prize for “Young business person of the year” – a category focused on business leaders under 30.
“I was delighted to win the award for young business person of the year this weekend, the Kennett team had a great night and I was pleasantly surprised to win an award. Winning any award is always a proud moment, but even more so given that I grew up in Renfrewshire and operate my business there. We are increasingly seeing an appreciation for the Kennett brand and what we are aspiring to become and it is so rewarding to have professionals in our industry and others sectors wanting to work with our brand. We are very excited about the future.”
