Timex puts the boot in with Red Wing collaboration

Timex has deftly paired the heritage of its Waterbury collection with the on-trend credentials of rugged American footwear brand, Red Wing Shoe Company.

The collaboration has resulted in three limited edition timepieces, priced from £79.99, which are exclusive to online boutique END.Clothing in the UK.

The new models, which includes one chronograph, feature vintage-inspired black dials and use Red Wing Shoe leather straps, stamped with the brand’s logo.

Timex began life as the Waterbury Clock Company in Connecticut in 1854 and the Waterbury collection was launched to celebrate the brand’s 160th anniversary.

Daniel Crow, brand development manager at Timex, said: “The Timex x Red Wing collaborative project feels extremely organic and sincere. This synergy between the two brands and the years of craftsmanship and rich history has resulted in a great product. The collection is launching exclusively with END. Clothing – a perfect partner to communicate the story and represent both brands and the product”.
