Timex partners with Face Hunter for LFW

Timex is teaming up with fashion photographer and cult blogger Yvan Rodic, aka Face Hunter, to capture the story of London during Fashion Week through photographs, this September. The watch brand is also encouraging retailers to get involved with the Fashion Week hype.

Internationally known blogger and photographer Rodic will be taking photos of the after show parties, the setting up of the shows, the high street’s take on the week, the people, the places and the fashion. Face Hunter, together with a team of style bloggers, will encourage fashionistas out and about in London during London Fashion Week, which starts on Friday, to tweet and post their photographic moments onto an online gallery, creating one giant crowd sourced snapshot to showcase the "style of the times" this autumn. The result will be live online at Timexstyleofthetimes.com.

Additionally, Timex is offering retailers the chance to get involved by Tweeting their images during the week to @TimexUK with #timexstyle. Any photos tweeted from a retailer’s Twitter handle displaying a Timex watch will be hyperlinked from the gallery to the watch on their site.

Timex senior international marketing manager Geneviève Robillard said: “There is so much fashion buzz in London during September and we wanted to be there to capture those stylish moments in time and showcase them in a unique way. Working with Face Hunter is really exciting and we’re hoping to gather a captivating blend of fashion minutes from the behind the scenes finesse, to the gloss of the shows, the high street hype and the party people letting their hair down. It’s a great opportunity for our retail partners to get involved and be part of creating a snapshot of fashion moments in time.”
