Timex jumps on retro trend with 1980s Pac-Man digital watch

Timex has all of its bases covered in the high volume affordable watch market.

From minimalist classics like its Waterbury line to sophisticated smartwatches like the new Metropolitan line, the brand has something for everybody.

Timex has long been active in the retro-styled digital watch trend for which Casio is so best-known, and has added a fresh model this month in the form of its T80 x PACMAN.

The square watch with rounded corners comes in black, gold and polished steel, each with coordinated steel bracelets.

Pac-Man is seen chasing the pesky ghosts around the perimeter of the digital display and its alarm is the familiar Pac-Man tune.

It goes on sale on at Timex.com on July 7 for around £60.

  1. Sorry, but judging by the design of the case and the price of the watch, it is still a plastic, not a steel case.
In addition, on other resources, information is only about steel bracelets for this model, and not about cases.
