Tiffany Blue Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A appears at auction

Phillips in New York is set to smash world record price for a Nautilus at its December 11-12 sale.

Phillips will enjoy the sort of attention money cannot buy on December 11 when a Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5711/1A-018 with Tiffany Blue lacquer dial is auctioned at its New York sale room.

The double signed Patek Philippe Nautilus with Tiffany blue dial was revealed this week as a 170 piece limited edition, which is being sold exclusively by Tiffany’s in New York, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco with a price of $52,635.

The limited edition was created to celebrate 170 years of Patek Philippe and Tiffany’s partnership.

Soon to be retired in 2022, this last version of the reference 5711 is fitted with the self-winding caliber 26-330 S C, visible through a sapphire-crystal caseback, inscribed “170th Anniversary 1851-2021 Tiffany & Co. – Patek Philippe”.

There is no reserve and no estimate on the watch, but it is certain to beat the price of an olive green factory sealed Nautilus 5711/1A, which sold at Antiquorum in July for almost $500,000.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the sale of this watch will benefit The Nature Conservancy (TNC).

Founded in the US in 1951, TNC is a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive.

Its mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends and shape a brighter future for people and our planet.
