The Watch Gallery is eyeing up a surge in second-hand watch sales after creating a dedicated ‘pre-owned’ section on its website.
The company revealed details of its plans this morning and confirmed the pre-owned section would launch with a range of 200 watches.
The move into pre-owned sales online makes it one of the few spaces in which customers can purchase a Rolex over the web, according to the Swiss timepiece retailer.
Its initial offering entails iconic pieces such as the Rolex Submariner and Daytona in addition to Omega, Cartier and Panerai models.
Each piece has been serviced to professional standards by the company’s expert in-house team with microscopic testing to verify authenticity.
“All watches have been cleaned, overhauled and refurbished, with timing and water-resistance checked (where applicable) in our dedicated in-house servicing facility,” a spokesperson for The Watch Gallery told WatchPro.
“All of our watches are securely packed in official brand presentation boxes, and include a two-year The Watch Gallery warranty.”
All pre-owned watches on its site are all available to UK buyers, but the company confirmed it will also ship within the EU, as well as internationally for selected brands.
