The UK loves INHORGENTA MUNICH

INHORGENTA MUNICH draws people from around the world to Munich each year.

INHORGENTA MUNICH draws people from around the world to Munich each year – just as it will again from 14th – 17th February 2020. The international trade fair for the jewelry, timepieces and gemstones industry is particularly celebrated by the United Kingdom. For both exhibitors and visitors from the UK INHORGENTA MUNICH offers a lot of inspiration.

One particular point for inspiration: In 2019, INHORGENTA MUNICH introduced a new boutique concept in the Timepieces Hall A1. After a fully booked premiere, this new, vibrant focal point will once again complement Hall A1 Timepieces at the 2020 INHORGENTA MUNICH.

Future retail and sustainability: what does the future hold?

It is not just the trade fair but also society as a whole and hence also the jewelry and timepiece sector that are changing faster than ever before. Digitalisation is forging ahead and environmental protection has made its way to the top of the political and economic agenda.  INHORGENTA MUNICH has created a platform for all market players where these topics can be discussed: TRENDFACTORY MUNICH. Panel discussions and expert presentations will cover topics such as new in-store visual merchandising options, for example holograms, and the question as to how Instagram can be used as an additional sales channel, and how technology and sustainability can go hand in hand in the gold value chain in the future.

INHORGENTA AWARD: Oscars for the watch industry

Exhibition Director Stefanie Maendlein looks back and forth at the same time: “By introducing the award, we wanted to help bring the attention to the jewelry and timepieces industry that it deserves. Ultimately, the industry is constantly developing amazing products. And that’s something it should be able to show off.”

Over the past four years, the INHORGENTA AWARD became one of the most important awards in the industry. This time, it takes place on 16th February 2020. High-profile experts on the jury will assess the timepieces and jewelry submitted and honor exceptional design concepts and top-quality craftsmanship with the coveted trophies. New this year: There are two categories dedicated to timepieces – the public choice award Best Piece of Watch and the award for Watch Design.

Stefanie Maendlein concludes: “In recent years we have been working extremely hard on our overall concept. Creative processes within our INHORGENTA MUNICH team have resulted in lots of great ideas which we have also been able to successfully implement, like the Watch Boutique and the Award. These positive developments have also not gone unnoticed amongst international exhibitors. As such, we are pleased to see the return to INHORGENTA MUNICH of many renowned brands – such as the Spanish Festina Group after a few years of absence.”

Enough reasons for all industry professionals to travel to Munich from 14th – 17th February 2020.
