The Electricianz has unveiled a fresh family of four watches, all in steel, that refine the brand’s early designs into a more up-market style with a retro vibe.
Known collectively as the Steel Z collection, the watches all adopt the company’s in-house electric module, and each has five LED lights to improve their look in the dark.
The Electricianz is known for its creative marketing and communication, and the launch of Steel Z is no exception with the company defining a different type of customer for each watch.
The Steel Z is for “the modern gentleman-farmer — true to traditions yet on the lookout for innovation”. It has a polished silver case housing a dial with rose-gold accents and is worn on a sany calfskin leather strap.
Stone Z is “an invitation to explore the infinity of space, dressed in a Tuxedo”, the company says. The watch aims to evoke a feeling for the mystery and quietness of space by contrasting a thunder-blue dial with gunmetal shakes of the moon’s surface.
Soprano Z is described as a provocative and spirited luxury watch where rose gold brings a softness that contrasts with the sharp features of the watch’s steel case.
As with all watches in the collection, it has five LED back lights that make it as attractive at night as in the day.
Finally, there is the CaZino, a watch that The Eletricianz says is “fierce and patient, like a player in flow mode”. Its conductive metal cables hint towards pinball lanes or gambling games. This is Las Vegas on the wrist.
The collection is on sale now on The Electricianz website and with retail partners priced at CHF 389.
