Ted Baker incorporates magnolia motif in latest launch

This collection is the first to incorporate the magnolia motif which is said to represent perseverance, strength, and beauty in nature.

British lifestyle brand Ted Baker has launched four new timepieces which the brand says aim to embody a new take on its iconic watch styles.

This collection is the first to incorporate the magnolia motif which is said to represent perseverance, strength, and beauty in nature.

Reflecting on the design, Anthony Cuthbertson, Ted Baker’s Global Creative Director, said: “The magnolia motif was lifted directly from the Ted Baker archive and stretches back to a constant deep-rooted association with floral designs from our inception in 1988. The Ted Baker DNA summed up in one simple icon.”

Releasing four new watches in total, the Fitzrovia Bumble Bee and the Lilabel watches join the new women’s range, while the Caine and Phylipa Gents timepieces contribute contemporary and classic style to the best-selling men’s collection.

In the women’s range, the Lilabel timepiece features the brand’s iconic magnolia motif stretched across its transparent 36mm dial.

The motif is delicately engraved on the back of the Lilabel case and on the inside of the watchstrap.

The Fitzrovia Bumble Bee (featured image) timepiece also complements this natural theme, as it features a bumble bee detail on its 34mm dial and both are available in a variety of colours meaning customers can make their timepiece their own.

In the men’s range, the Caine timepiece has a chronograph movement housed in a large 44mm case, and is water resistant up to 50 meters.

It comes on a bold silicone watchstrap embossed with the Ted Baker logo.

The Phylipa Gents timepiece makes the perfect counterpart, as its slim 41mm case, multi-functional movement and brown leather watchstrap integrate to create a classic timepiece.
