TAG Heuer turns to green for first limited edition Monaco of 2021

The watch goes on sale in select boutiques worldwide and on Tagheuer.com from today (April 23) for £5,500.

TAG Heuer saved its most eye-catching launch for after the digital bun fight of Watches and Wonders: an emerald green-dialed Monaco made to mark its partnership with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique classic car spectacle.

Just 500 of the limited edition Monaco will be made in green, a colour with deep associations to the motoring world, particularly in Britain.

Green is also the runaway colour of the year for 2021 watches after it was adopted for fresh references of Patek Philippe’s Nautilus, Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak and Tudor’s Black Bay among many others.

TAG Heuer has chosen an emerald green, which fades from light at the centre to dark at the edge of the 39mm square-shaped steel case.
