TAG Heuer has extended its partnership as the Official Timekeeper of the Virgin Money London Marathon.
The marathon is watched by millions of people in 196 countries worldwide and is the most popular marathon on the planet, with a world record 386,050 people applying to run in the 2018 event.
Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and president of LVMH Watch division says: “This marathon is one of the most international running events in the world, mixing all levels and performances. It symbolises a mindset of achievement and risk taking that is dear to TAG Heuer.”
During their time as Official Timekeeper, the Swiss watchmaker’s #DontCrackUnderPressure slogan has been used to encourage and inspire participants to push through the final stages of the 26.2 mile course with a distinctive cracked wall installation on the route at this year’s event.
This year’s elite race winners were presented with the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 41 watch, which was launched in January.
