TAG Heuer has created a 150-piece limited edition of its Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a technicolour treatment of its open-worked dial and movement.
The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon has been the most sophisticated timepiece in the TAG Heuer portfolio since it was introduced in 2016 as one of the most competitively priced, COSC-certified flying tourbillon watches on the market with a price tag of around £12,000.
That price has crept up over the past six years, particularly for limited editions like the TAG HEUER Formula 1 X Mario Kart Chronograph Tourbillon, which costs £21,250.
The latest rainbow-coloured piece, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome retails for £19,950.
It comes in a black PVD coated 45mm case housing the COSC-certified Heuer 02T movement, which has a rainbow-coloured oscillating weight.
The same colouring is carried over to the open-worked dial, which displays hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph and has the tourbillon regulator at 6 o’clock.
