TAG Heuer reveals new chronograph movement

LVMH brand TAG Heuer has revealed its latest performance-driven chronograph movement.

The Calibre Heuer 02 is the follow up to the Heuer 01, which debuted in 2009, and was created in an attempt to evolve the previous design.

Building on its predecessor, the Heuer 02 was created with the aim of making a thinner movement with an increased power reserve that exhibited the same precision in timekeeping as the Heuer 01.

TAG Heuer’s Calibre Heuer 02 offers numerous benefits including a vertical clutch that improves the precision of the start and stop functions as well as a column wheel that provides more accurate and precise functionality.

The Heuer 02 includes 168 components at a diameter of 31.0 mm and a power reserve of 80 hours.
