Swatch to open interactive temporary store

Swatch is opening a pop-up store on Brompton Road in London, which will allow visitors to engage with Swatch on multiple platforms via features including an iPad zone.

The temporary store, which will be positioned on the ground floor of 35 Brompton Road in the upmarket retail quarter of The Knightsbridge Estate, will operate for approximately four months and will measure 39m2.

The store will be one-of-a-kind in the UK, featuring an interactive iPad zone allowing shoppers to explore and engage with Swatch across its many multi-faceted platforms. Shoppers will also be able to purchase direct from the brand’s e-commerce website.

There will be two Apps for consumers to access in the store, the first is the Swatch & Art App, which features a nostalgic look back across 30 years of Swatch history, related to various collaborations with artists and designers from a range of sectors.

The second app is titled Swatch Faces. By taking a picture and pin pointing parts of the image, the app chooses the best Swatch for the user. Both applications can be downloaded from the iOS Apple App store.

The space will be wrapped in the new Irony Chrono Time Machine creative and the store will have all the new fall/winter collection; Classic, Les Annees Folles and Urban Expression.

In October the store will welcome two new collections, Trompe L’Oeil and Late Night Glam.
