Swatch announces three bold new watches for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

It will be the second time in under 60 years that the event has been hosted by Tokyo, and so Swatch is releasing the Big Bold line of timepieces.

Longtime Olympic partner Swatch has announced three new timepieces for the upcoming games this summer, taking place in the Japanese capital beginning July 24.

It will be the second time in under 60 years that the event has been hosted by Tokyo, and so Swatch is releasing the Big Bold line.

First, referencing the colour used during Japanese festivities is the BB Kurenai Red, with a large 47mm case.

Next, its partner, the BB AI Blue refers to the colour Japan uses to represent itself on the world stage.

Finally, Swatch says, the Tokyo 2020 Blue watch symoblises the games’ values and passion for sport.
