Rainbow watches have been a bit of a trend over the past year and would fit right in with this month’s Pride celebration of LGBT+ loves and lives.
Shinola and Swatch have revealed watches specifically for Pride.
The Shinola Pride Detrola, limited to 1,969 pieces to commemorate the historic Stonewall riots in the United States, has a translucent case, mirror dial, and clear strap that can be switched for a rainbow nylon strap.
Shinola has announced it is pledging $120,000 to Ruth Ellis Center and SAGE.
Ruth Ellis Center works to create a supportive environment and community with LGBTQ+ young people. SAGE leads in addressing issues related to LGBT+ aging.
Swatch for Pride
Swatch made its first watch for Pride last year, and has followed up with a collection of three watches and four Swatch X You designs that all use the movement’s rainbow theme.
