Chiswick Auctions has announced details of its most recent Jewellery & Watches sale, which took place on Tuesday 19 January.
The West London-based auction house, which was established over 20 years ago, revealed which watch lots really stood out.
One of the star performers was Lot 55A , a gents 18ct rose gold cased Franck Muller dress watch, with a special order blue guilloche enamel dial and Arabic chapter and sub-seconds dial, fitted with its original black leather strap and 18ct rose gold buckle. The watch ended up selling for £4,800, which included the buyer’s premium.
Another timepiece that left an impression at the auction was Lot 60A, an 18ct rose gold ‘Audemars Piguet’ royal oak offshore triple date wristwatch, with textured multi-function dial showing day-date-month, original leather strap and an 18ct gold deployment buckle. Again including buyer’s premium, this watch sold for £6,600 on the day.
The next Chiswick Auctions Jewellery and Watches sale will be taking place on Tuesday 15 March 2016.
