Speake-Marin has unveiled the first watch from its Mechanical Art collection, the Triad.
The watch features triple hour-minute indications over an open dial, set in a steel case with rose gold bezel and fitted with an Eros 2 automatic winding movement.
The Triad has heat-blued Foundation-style hands over gilded topping-tool-shaped wheels in a triangular format around a smaller central topping-tool-shaped seconds wheel.
The movement plate has been finished by hand and has been rhodium plated. White applied numbers mark the hours at 3 o’clock,6 o’clock, 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock.
Around the bottom right of the dial ring the phrase 3 NOTES 1 MEANING has been inscribed which Speake-Marin said is in reference to the three-note chord in music that is known as a triad.
Just 88 of these watches have been created.
