Jr nocturnal trio

Something of the night from JeanRichard

JeanRichard has turned the lights down with its latest collection of darkly clad watches aimed at nocturnal adventurers.

The trio of brooding timepieces are made up of two of the company’s Terrascope models and a 1681, redesigned to fit the atmosphere of this mood collection.

The 1681 with black DLC case takes the theme to heart with matt black, micro-beaded stainless steel case and crown, matt black dial and polished black indices, black Barenia calfskin strap and black PVD-coated folding buckle. The only concessions to visibility come on the date window and leaf-shaped hands where beige luminous material.

It’s a powerful look and perfect, one would imagine, for the ‘night-time expeditions’ JeanRichard has in mind for these watches. The watch has a JR1000 automatic movement with 48 hour power reserve at its heart with black rotor (naturally) that can be viewed through a sapphire crystal caseback.

The two Terrascope models in the collection offer choices perfect for glamorous events or tactical incursions. The black DLC example with alternating vertical satin and sandblasted finishing is mounted on a rubber strap and has a definite air of military intentions while the bi-colour example with brushed satin and polished pink gold finishes would be better suited to an evening at the casino. Both Terrascope models use an automatic JR60 movement with 38 hour power reserve.
