Slyde is set to sponsor PokerStars’ Caribbean Adventure 10th Anniversary event in January 2013, the second PokerStars event that the Swiss brand has been involved with.
Jorg Hysek, creator of Slyde, said of the partnership: "The PCA is one of the biggest events in live poker; for poker players, winning a PCA event is a career highlight.
“We are excited to be partnering with such a prestigious event and look forward to awarding the winners of the High Roller, Super High Roller and Main Event with their watches and congratulating them on their success."
As part of the sponsorship Slyde will gift watches to each category of winner, starting with the $10,000 Main Event winner, who will take home the Black and Steel version of its watch, worth €5,250 (£4,263), through to the $100,000 Super High Roller champion who will be gifted a steel and diamond model worth €14,880 (£12,084).
Slyde watches have been rebranded from the HD3 name that the brand launched with at BaselWorld in 2011. It was sponsor of the EPT Season 9 Main Events poker tournament earlier in the year.
