SIHH opens its doors to the public for one day at January event

SIHH, the luxury watch exhibition that introduces new Richemont watch brands’ collections every year, will open for an extra day next year so that the public can visit the show.

SIHH in Geneva will be opening its doors on January 16. It is now much more than just a Richemont brand showcase, and will launch the 2017 collections for around 30 watch houses.

The public open day is on January 20. Tickets are priced CHF 70 and can be bought from the official SIHH website.

The 2017 edition will see the return of Girard-Perregaux and welcomes Ulysse Nardin for the first time. Five independent brands also join the Carré des Horlogers, taking the line up to 13 non-Richemont brands including Christophe Claret, MB&F Romain Jerome and Ressence.

The main exhibition will feature A.Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Greubel Forsey, IWC, Jaeger LeCoultre, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

WatchPro is an official media partner at SIHH, and will join 1200 journalists and hundreds of trade buyers that travel from around the world to the exhibition.

The January edition of WatchPro, which will be distributed free to visitors at SIHH, will carry a comprehensive preview report of SIHH.
